Vocantas Expands Healthcare and Higher Education IVR Reach
Vocantas, a leading developer of interactive voice response (IVR) solutions, announced today that Ken Farquhar and Kevin Daner have joined the North American sales team to expand the company’s reach in the Healthcare and Higher Education markets.

Vocantas, a leading developer of interactive voice response (IVR) solutions, announced today that Ken Farquhar and Kevin Daner have joined the North American sales team to expand the company’s reach in the Healthcare and Higher Education markets. Reporting to Gary T. Hannah, President and Chief Executive Officer, Ken and Kevin are responsible for demand and revenue generation.
Ken Farquhar will focus on the Canadian Healthcare and Higher Education vertical markets, and will be based at Vocantas headquarters in Ottawa. Prior to joining Vocantas Ken served e-Academy in the role of Sales Director, with overall responsibility for the Global e-Store. Ken has more than 20 years of business development experience, building channels and partner relationships including a prior role as Channel Sales Manager at Centrepoint Technologies. Ken attended Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology – Business Administration Program.
Kevin Daner brings over 20 years of sales and sales management experience to Vocantas along with a proven track record of delivering strong growth, market penetration, and successful channel development for both private and public companies. Prior to joining Vocantas, Kevin was Director of Regional Sales in North America at Tundra Corporation (now IDT), a global leader of system interconnect semiconductor solutions. At Tundra he consistently achieved dominant regional capture at top customers in target markets such as wireless infrastructure, storage networking, rugged embedded systems, industrial automation, and information technology. Kevin’s focus will be US Healthcare and Higher Education. Kevin is a graduate of Bowdoin College and is based in the Boston, Massachusetts area.
