Jr/Int .NET Application Developer (telephony/VOIP/IVR)

Description: Reporting to the Senior Application Architect, you will take part in all stages of development of the complex, state-of-the-art software products in the Microsoft .NET environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve requirement analysis, software design, coding, debugging, unit testing and final integration. You will work in a small team environment where creative ideas will be seriously considered at all levels - including new product features, new development tools and techniques, new software architectures, etc. At Vocantas, we value team-work and innovation!
Technical Qualifications:
- Object Oriented analysis and programming techniques
- Visual Studio .NET (VB.NET, C#)
- Computer hardware knowledge
- Windows Operating System (XP, 2003/2008 Server, Vista)
- SQL database programming experience
Necessary Skills & Experience
- Computer Science, Math or Engineering degree, and/or relevant software development experience
- Microsoft .NET experience
Non-Technical Qualifications:
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented
Skills considered an asset:
- Previous IVR (Interactive Voice Response) system development experience
- Knowledge of telephony and/or fax (Dialogic, SIP)
- Multi-threaded programming
- Windows Services programming experience
