Solution Sales Professional - Healthcare & Education Verticals

We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead our healthcare and education solution sales. Leveraging your previous experience as a sales professional in healthcare, education or within the telephony industry will be the key to your success.
Our award winning applications use industry-leading speech recognition software to focus on extreme value-added solutions for a variety of sectors including healthcare, education and customer service. The most successful candidate will use their creative and business development skills, along with industry knowledge, to accelerate our growth.
Responsibilities:
- Sell and support our unique service offering
- Develop new markets, as well as maintain existing relationships
- Identify points of pain and turn that pain into new sales opportunities
- Identify and research market trends within these verticals
- Manage all aspects of the sales cycle, from prospecting to close
- Work with the product development team to define new solutions
- Work directly with the CEO to help define go-forward sales strategies
- Interact with clients to determine new product ideas and enhancements
- Travel required
Necessary Skills & Experience:
- Degree or Diploma in business, nursing, home healthcare or similar health fields
- 4 years successful experience in a professional sales role, ideally selling into the Canadian healthcare or education sectors
- Self-motivated, outgoing and passionate to make a difference
- Successful track record in developing qualified leads via cold calling in conjunction with an existing marketing strategy
- Successful track record in closing enterprise IT solutions sales
- Ability to network with professionals within your vertical
- Ability to work within a team environment with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and Power Point
Skills considered to be assets:
- Direct experience in healthcare, clinic care, or home care industry or education sector is highly desired
- Experience / knowledge with IVR systems
- Knowledge of the computer telephony industry
- Experience in new business development
- Problem solving skills and negotiation skills
- A professional demeanor and the ability to interact with all levels of an organization
- Bilingual
