Solution Sales Professional - Healthcare & Education Verticals

We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead our healthcare and education solution sales. Leveraging your previous experience as a sales professional in healthcare, education or within the telephony industry will be the key to your success.

Our award winning applications use industry-leading speech recognition software to focus on extreme value-added solutions for a variety of sectors including healthcare, education and customer service. The most successful candidate will use their creative and business development skills, along with industry knowledge, to accelerate our growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell and support our unique service offering
  • Develop new markets, as well as maintain existing relationships
  • Identify points of pain and turn that pain into new sales opportunities
  • Identify and research market trends within these verticals
  • Manage all aspects of the sales cycle, from prospecting to close
  • Work with the product development team to define new solutions
  • Work directly with the CEO to help define go-forward sales strategies
  • Interact with clients to determine new product ideas and enhancements
  • Travel required

Necessary Skills & Experience:

  • Degree or Diploma in business, nursing, home healthcare or similar health fields
  • 4 years successful experience in a professional sales role, ideally selling into the Canadian healthcare or education sectors
  • Self-motivated, outgoing and passionate to make a difference
  • Successful track record in developing qualified leads via cold calling in conjunction with an existing marketing strategy
  • Successful track record in closing enterprise IT solutions sales
  • Ability to network with professionals within your vertical
  • Ability to work within a team environment with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and Power Point

Skills considered to be assets:

  • Direct experience in healthcare, clinic care, or home care industry or education sector is highly desired
  • Experience / knowledge with IVR systems
  • Knowledge of the computer telephony industry
  • Experience in new business development
  • Problem solving skills and negotiation skills
  • A professional demeanor and the ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • Bilingual
