Junior/Intermediate .NET Application Developer (Telephony/VOIP/IVR)

Description:

Reporting to the Senior Application Architect, you will take part in all stages of development of the complex state-of-the-art software products in the Microsoft .NET environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve requirement analysis, software design, coding, debugging, unit testing and final integration. However, in a small team environment, creative ideas will be seriously considered at all levels, including new product features, new development tools and techniques, new software architectures, etc. At Vocantas, we value team-work and innovation!

Technical Qualifications:

Object Oriented analysis and programming techniques
Visual Studio .NET (VB.NET, C#)
Computer hardware knowledge
Windows Operating System (XP, 2003/2008 Server, Vista)
SQL database programming experience

Necessary Skills & Experience:

Computer Science, Math or Engineering degree, and/or relevant software development experience
Microsoft .NET experience

Non-Technical Qualifications:

Ability to multi-task and work independently
Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent English communication skills (speaking/reading/writing)
Detail-oriented

Skills considered assets:

Previous IVR (Interactive Voice Response) system development experience
Knowledge of telephony and/or fax (Dialogic, SIP)
Multi-threaded programming
Windows Services programming experience
